I am doing option 2 above against one Norwegian operator. They use a subset of
CIMD2 where the pricecode (two digits) goes in the field for the senders
number. If the message is so big it needs to be split, then we set the price
to 00 for the parts after the first one.
I made a few changes that to shared.c that I can send you if this would solve
your problem.
