greek support

Hi everyone!!!!. Could someone help me how to send messages with greek characters with smpp protocol? I have configured kannel in redhat linux 9. It send messages with latin characters but when I write greek the getting sms is wrong…It’ s very urgent because I have a client that wants to send sms in greek!!!
