AFAIK WAP 2.0 is basically http so you can use apache with mod_proxy
and mod_(appropriate compression) to achieve your goal.
Just out of curiosity, why mod_proxy? What makes it necessary? Would not
"plain" apache do?
Paul meant "... basically http proxy...", so you can use apache's
mod_proxy or squid or any other http proxy
