I agree that it better as current store-file implementation...

Could you please post updated patch? I have different implementation for
store-file that uses store-spooldir and not a single file and want compare
performance... Heh I should really find some time to pick/cleanup patches 
(

P.S. R-B-Tree approach was implemented by me in centrium tree. Stipe, could
we pick this one too?
