or, if the phone company has "optional" internet GPRS APNs and CSD dial-in nodes, use those for the raw IP-stack for the phone and setup the Kannel machine in a public IP range, allowing your mobile users to use *your* Kannel as WAP gw instead of the phone companies.


In order to have users configure this, you may in addition utilize OTA config SMS, either Nokia/Ericsson format or official WAP 2.0 OMA OTA Prov format.
