Hello, I've started working with a Wavecom Fastrack GSM modem and I saw some things are very missing: i'm working on that stuff. but it's not clear how fast or if it may be published into kannel.org. I don't even know if it should go in the kannel project - this is something "more". - Network registration monitoring (if the modem is lost connection with the GSM network) the only reasonable way to do this i found is to check the modem-pin with at+cpin? The +CREG? gives X,Y whre Y means if it's registered on the network or not. Also 5 is ok (roaming) - Antenna's signal monitoring (signal power check) at+csq Yeah - RING answer with an SMS (SMS answering machine to RING) some of the parsing functions. we suspress this by doing a permanent callforwarding to the mailbox by e.g. It could be also interesting to send a "message" upon RING. Actually the kannel sends ATH0 upon RING. It could be more interesting to send a RING message. check that by at+ccfc="0,2" and set it by at+ccfc=0,3,"yournumber" The best documentation i found on the net is a wavecom at pdf.
