Thanks for the feedback. I am trying a couple of different ways
of using multiplex functionality. I hope to review them properly
tomorrow and will say what has happened then,

uh, this sounds cool. though i have no hardware to test
this. my 6310i
doesn't support that.
allso the kannel serial io stuff needs to get a demux facility to get
this running... on that quick look i didn't find any tec
specs so far.
