Here is the best way to use -m32
./configure --with-malloc-native --disable-docs --disable-wap --sysconfdir=/etc/kannel/ --enable-start-stop-daemon --disable-keepalive --with-cflags="-m32"

BTW, and after my experience, kannel is *NOT* working with native 64bits mode, the program segfaults as you.

does this statement mean: works as expected compiled with -m32 flag, but does _not_ work with -m64 (hence 64 bit) mode?

right, that's exactly what i mean, but i'm gonna test it again to trace it
and report bugs.

that would be great as first step.

Coming back to the request if me (or an other Kannel developer) would be granted with a normal ssh user access to a machine? It would be great if we can jump to a box and do some of that testing and debugging on our own.

Anyone arround that can offer (maybe a time restricted) access to a 64bit box?

Stipe
