good question ;) ... even while I'm to blame for all the openssl SSL connection
handling, I really can't tell you... I simply don't know.
But, my suggestion is to peak into mod_ssl for Apache to figure out. Either
Ralfs mod_ssl for the apache-1.3 branch or apache-2.x included ssl module. They
do a lot of nasty things with SSL server certificate things. Hope you can figure
it out from there.
But I think this should be possible.
