exactly. another option would be that you misconfigured the type of SMS-message-id they supply. This only applies on SMPP. In that case you however would get no reports at all.

Does this mean, that there is no problem with kannel's code which i am using, but the problem is from the SMSC's end. They are not providing us with the
correct reports.

Thanks

I think the answer to this is dependent on the SMSC.
All SMSC drivers support successful delivery message. so if the SMSC
doesn't send it to you, its not a real smsc but some freaky
aggreggator who doesn't give you proper reports.

Hi All,

I am setting dlr-mask=31, but i never get "delivery success" as a
status
back from the SMSC, the only delivery description which am getting is
"message buffered. smsc submit", though the sms messages gets
successfully
delivered to mobile phones.

I also tried setting the value of "dlr-mask=3" but then i did not
get any
delivery status back from the SMSC. When I set the value of "dlr-
mask=15"
then again i got "message buffered. smsc submit" back from the SMSC.

Can any body please suggest me what the problem is, is the problem
is at
SMSC's end or it is from my end.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
