exactly. another option would be that you misconfigured the type of
SMS-message-id they supply. This only applies on SMPP. In that case
you however would get no reports at all.

All SMSC drivers support successful delivery message. so if the SMSC
doesn't send it to you, its not a real smsc but some freaky
aggreggator who doesn't give you proper reports.
