What might be a viable method of achieving this? I am thinking perhaps a sourceForge project that is a PATCH against X version of kannel.org. What this means is that the repository would hold patch files + any added new files. I want no part of supporting a separate trunck development of kannel, that's what kannel.org is for, And I doubt they'd be any amused by it. It's a messy idea, how workable do you think? Would anyone bother to want to check it out? I think for many many reasons the stuff would be rejected (some already have) for trunck kannel.org. Eg mblox/mqube TLV specialization, DLR handling specialization, GDBM dlr database, etc,etc,etc,etc,etc,etc...
