It is a Multitech MTCBA-G-EN-F4 quad-band GPRS modem. This modem is an
ethernet modem and plugs directly into my router. I have not been able to
get Kannel to connect to it. I can, however, telnet to it and send AT
commands. The telnet session requires a login via username and password
though and I believe that this is why it repeatedly attempts to detect the
modem speed and always says "connecting" in the status obtained via http
request to Kannel. If you search the users mail list for my modem I have
more details about my config and log files in an earlier email there.

Any guidance you could give me in creating this mod would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,

-Tony
