yep, again, Alex is right here. The only thing that would switch my mind to the db-internal generation of the key is if the UUID would break version compatibility.
If we can use UUID Kannel generated IDs, that would be feasable IMO. Hillel, Guillaume, any comments on this? Does it solve the discussion?
