Hi Narendra, the normal Kannel SMS gateway can't act as SMPP server, as it abstracts all SMSC client side protocol to HTTP on the server side. I provide a commercial add-on component, the Kannel SMPP v3.4 server (smppbox), that allows you to use the known Kannel architecture and implements a vSMSC solution, implementing the following chain: upstream SMSC <-SMPP/UCP/HTTP/..-> bearerbox <-> smppbox <-SMPP-> SMPP client So smppbox attaches to bearerbox for the upstream MT, MO and DLR traffic. All message types are supported and DLR msg ID handling is transparently mapped. Please let me know if you have further interest.
