Hi, I know this has been discussed before 2 posts out of a few discussions (mail-archive seems down to me right now but I used google cache) : http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg03528.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg04241.html Of course we fall on that situation where one of our partner doesn't like us sending esm_class = 0x03. First tought that came to mind when I check the SMPP protocol on that issue was since 0x00 was "Default SMSC mode" shouldn't that been the default from the beginning? It's probably too late to change it (since many connections relies with 0x03), however I do believe that allowing this options to be set inside the configuration (specifically of an smpp connections) would be a +1 in the flexibility of Kannel. Even if it's a smpp generic configuration, I mean it's an option SMPP connection should be able to set... Unless I missed something? Regards, -- Mathieu Bruneau |
