Hi Alex,

The setup is not necessarily limited to a single server. Bb could be to
another server than smsbox, even to different physical locations.
Communication could be TCP over WAN. Network can cause a lot of failures and
lost packages, beyond TCP retransmission.

Are not ACKs implemented in smsbox? I have not seen the sources, yet.
