Dear Jim Gettys,
Thank you much on your kind attendtion/suggession.
I don't think it was a bug but hardware's feature.
I have long experiance with inappropriate hardwares ranging from hard
disk, VGA, CDROM, eth0, ... , processor.
In the year 1995 while 90% + of pc in my university cannot play movies
from CD (2x) but my pentium 90 at that time play it w/o problem.
That is reason I develop NGUD usb drive.
Before I buy any hardwares I must test it using NGUD CD or NGUD usb, If it
was run smoothly then I will buy it.
In this case, the features I found are:
1. network crash so often but after upgrade to Linux BIOS I do not need to
probe the eth0 any more (got improve)
2. playing huge movie using Mplayer cause no problem on both eth0 and VGA
but playing .swf using browser plug-in always cause serious problem.
(Playing small .swf cause no problem on both eth0 and VGA)
Regards,
supat

Please put the bug report in the trac system you will find at
http://dev.laptop.org/ so that the problem won't get lost. We know the
amd driver needs more work, but until people started using it, it is
hard to know what needs work :-).
Thanks,

Dear Jim Gettys,
I upgrade OLPC to LinuxBIOS on your sugession with full hope of .swf
solution. (pentium 90 I have can did the same w/o problem)
However, after put real clean .img you recommend, I found that VGA of OLPC
still did not able to play .swf from my web at http://supat.eu.org/
Ofcause I did put correctly plug-in for .swf and it can play .swf w/o VGA
(sound only). That means problem exist in amd driver VGA of OLPC or OLPC
hardware problem.
I try to follow method of apache 2 sugess by Anton Borisov but also
failed.
IMO: .swf is indispensable technology of learning need by poor students.
Below is qouted to I sent to Anton Borisov:
