Indeed. To make those changes I need the full toolchain that, as you say, isn't that stable. Wasn't planning to get into LinuxBIOS hacking _that_ much ;-) just polishing the ash scripts. Ah, well. I will refrain for the time being from hacking on those scripts, specially since I don't have a PLCC Flash chip (is that standard hw I can source independently?). [ My goals are more on the apps side of things. I have not interest in bricking this board. And what I can contribute on the LinuxBIOS side is limited at best. ] On a related angle, the current scripts try NAND first, and USB second.
