Unless I am mistaken, 2.6.18 has been out since last week. It's also
being shipped in Rawhide already. Are the tickless patches in it?
Because if they are not, then we'll have to wait until 2.6.19 or backport.
The 2.6.18 changelog lists only 1 entry with the word "tickless" in it:
