Yeah, we had to wire up a post-production board modification so that we could shoot the Marvell unit in the head on every reset attempt, because they were so slow to deal with the problems with their binary-only firmware which we couldn't debug for ourselves. Unfortunately, we also call the reset function upon unloading the usb83xx driver.
