That's pretty neat, but Xephyr is kind of laggy even on a fat laptop. It certainly won't be any good for running SDL based games, for instance. I do that on my XO right now by killing matchbox and starting twm, which is obviously not appropriate for non-developer use. Wouldn't it be better to fix Sugar and Matchbox to handle "normal" applications running directly on the real X server? - -- Regards, Andrew Clunis -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFF8LoZALkUMXSNow8RAiXIAJ9VFgV/DqijWb6aakPZ0qcJQSNpBQCgoWqQ aVjlv5kgFjcLs+bFNSrcjV0= =HwWt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.laptop.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
