I think you changed the logic here from AND to OR. I believe this would
be more correct:
ifp = MALLOC(dhd->pub.osh, sizeof(dhd_if_t));
if (!(dhd->iflist[ifidx]) && (!ifp)) {

return -ENOMEM;
}
