Hello Greg, that would be https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21872. In the future I will use a URL when referring to a logged bug. The bug occurs when somebody overwrites the firmware (in /lib/firmware/brcm) with bogus files. My recommendation would be to include this patch also for .37 and previous kernels.
