None of that needs to change just because a buildtag is appended. Whenever the source code changes in any way, one or more of the current parts of the Version and Release fields should be updated. For a rebuild, when the source code hasn't changed, the spec wouldn't need to change either, and only the buildtag would set the rebuilt package apart from the previous one. Björn Persson
