I have been to only person to actually update thrift since 2022. I'm
hereby declaring that I am no longer maintaining it and have removed
myself from the package.
Perhaps some of the other maintainers of thrift or its dependencies:
ceph
gnuradio
libarrow
will give it some attention and keep it updated. Currently it is at
version 0.20 and 0.22 is out.
My initial attempt at updating to 0.21 failed to build so it does need
some attention.
