Seong, The images maintained at the RH site were created by as a part of the stable release process we used to produce our first several releases.
The images you probably want to be playing with are currently located at http://xs-dev.laptop.org/~cscott/olpc/streams The "joyride" branch is a staging ground for gaining experience with build-patches (i.e. collections of packages) that we are considering for use in our Update.1 release.
