I was dreaming about this last night. Do XO's have serially-assigned
numbers in them? If so, you could use them to assign the lower 24
bits of a 10/24 addr until you've shipped 16 million XOs, then your
chances of collision rise from zero to 1/2^24.

Buy time to get that IPv6 mobile IP coolness all snarked out.
