One way to implement such a scaling system would be to use Xv, rather than mode-setting. The 2D engine does support scaling with Xv, so a 400x300 3D area could be scaled up to fill the whole screen. Unfortunately, neither SDL nor Mesa seems to have built-in support for using Xv to scale output, so a substantial amount of work is required in software. - --Ben -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkhL8ZIACgkQUJT6e6HFtqRuswCfdq7ZEsQHLULyywrKEnfv1XRq DIoAn3WssLRS4mDCJM4zQx4S1QpgxQFe =nc3v -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list Devel@lists.laptop.org http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/devel
