It runs fine when I launch it from the command line (Terminal Activity as user olpc) via sugar-launch. It works regardless of the current working directory. But, it hangs when I launch it from the ring on the home screen. It pops up with all the tool bars (but is missing all the icons in the custom toolbars) and a gray canvas.
