Douglas did a bit of spelunking, and I've documented the findings here: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/XO_updater#Notes_on_sugar-update-control This means that we can get an XS-based activity update scheme easily for countries with a local in /etc/olpc-update/activity-groups .
