The uncool thing about this is that it's built on a custom kernel. To build it, I followed the procedures on http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Rebuilding_OLPC_kernel#Building_the_RPM_.28from_scratch.29 usin Instead of following one of the branches, I specifically picked the same commit that produced the kernel in 8.2.1: a3e1b6fe884eb2d9eb9e9e3f3b718c113ac6cdd8 and edited the config file a bit -- you'll have seen the patch with my changes. In any case, the edited config file is in the xs-livecd repo now in case we need to rebuild this. If we can fix the problem with the initrd, then we can stop this nonsense and use a vanilla kernel. cheers, martin -- [email protected] [email protected] -- School Server Architect - ask interesting questions - don't get distracted with shiny stuff - working code first - http://wiki.laptop.org/go/User:Martinlanghoff _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/devel
