Includes a training video. XO-1 recovery was difficult because of the special components needed. XO-1.5 recovery is greatly simplified by (a) support in OpenFirmware for programming a chip attached to an I/O port dedicated for the purpose, and (b) the large 2.54mm pitch footprints for attaching one laptop to another for hosted reflashing.
