I've noticed that once you trigger the issue, you can't open the
journal entry selector even after you switch to basic html view. Try
this...

- Restart your computer
- Open a 'new' browse instance
- Log into GMail and switch to Basic HTML (without first attempting to
compose/attach)
- Try composing an email and attaching a file, the correct journal
entry selector should show up

It works for me on Dextrose-2
