Wow! Sorry to hear that.

If I understand the problem correctly, this sounds like something that
our config tools should smooth out for you (ie: xs_domain_config
should lowercase it).

Can you file a bug at dev.l.o assigned to XS, with a bit more detail
(where did you use the uppercase name? when you called
xs_domain_config? what errors did you see?) ?
