New OLPC hardware uses device-tree to expose some of its hw and firmware information, instead of the oldfashioned promfs. It is rumoured that new kernels will do the same even on old hardware.
olpc-netutils needs to get on with the modern times, so I've patched it and released 0.8.1 with minimal changes to support device-tree along with promfs.
