There's still work being done on Suspend & Resume so its still not optimal. The XO 1.75 runs vanilla Fedora compiled for ARM. All the standard tools you know and love on Fedora are either already available on Fedora ARM or soon will be. The code is no different and all the various FOSS tools should work pretty much exactly as they do on Fedora x86 > OLPC is one of the bastions of hope for getting "Full proper Linux" > running & being developed well on ARM since that area's pretty wild > west... Linaro have made big in roads here and the releases for Arch, Debian and Ubuntu are beginning to look pretty good as well, even OpenSuse and Mandriva (or one of the forks/derivatives) are moving towards support of ARM platforms.
