When I go to http://diveintohtml5.info/detect.html#video-formats on a 1.75 with os25 using Firefox on GNOME it says "Your browser can't play Ogg Theora video. Your browser can't play H.264 video." (see caption below the image)
However, when I play one of these OGV files directly in Firefox, it plays both audio and video. These are screencasts for Drupal 6 recorded using gtk-recordmydesktop on a Ubuntu laptop and the codec info says video is Theora and audio is Vorbis. http://verma.sfsu.edu/projects/782-videos/ Is this something missing on the Firefox end? cheers, Sameer -- Sameer Verma, Ph.D. Professor, Information Systems San Francisco State University http://verma.sfsu.edu/ http://commons.sfsu.edu/ http://olpcsf.org/ _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/devel
