The latest version 2d57785 works on XO-1, XO-1.5, and XO-1.75 as the host, and any XO can be the target. It can also send a BREAK, for kernel SysRq or Open Firmware keyboard interrupt ... although the Open Firmware support for BREAK recognition was missing on XO-1.75. Fixed in svn 2932.
