I did a little more testing on this.

Even when using the routers that 'Passed' our initial ten XO-1 test, I can
see that the XO monitoring the beacon times is being disturbed by the
presence of even a single XO-1 running mesh.

As soon as this XO boots, the beacon times blow out on the monitoring XO.

With the additional testing I have also see failures to connect, albeit in
smaller percentages.

So the fact that a couple of older routers passed our initial tests is
probably not all that relevant now.
