Hi,

gd.h is part of the GD library (www.libgd.org); install it along with its 
development header files and it should work better (if you are running Debian, 
something along the lines of apt-get install libgd2-xpm-dev).

If you want to validate your simulation environment, you may want to start 
with a simpler testbench than that of the TMU.
