Hi, I have run the "Consumer Devices" benchmark suite from MiBench [1] on Milkymist 0.2 with Linux 2.6.23. Results are here (execution times measured in seconds): http://github.com/lekernel/milkymist-mibench
The "tiff2rgba" benchmark is missing because it allocated memory blocks too large for the uClinux allocator to handle. I will run them on Microblaze as well in order to compare the performances of the two systems. By the way, the benchmarks have shown that Milkymist is more than fast enough to decode MP3s in real time. It would be great to have an ALSA driver soon :) Sébastien [1] http://www.eecs.umich.edu/mibench/Publications/MiBench.pdf _______________________________________________ http://lists.milkymist.org/listinfo.cgi/devel-milkymist.org IRC: #milkym...@freenode Webchat: www.milkymist.org/irc.html Wiki: www.milkymist.org/wiki
