Sure I will update it. We are using Werner's 'boom' software, which allows us to go from a KiCad .lst bom exported from eeschema directly to a digikey shopping list. Support for other distributors and manufacturers to come soon. If you don't want to dive into boom, you can just make whatever changes you want, no need to commit the .lst bom from eeschema or the .csv bom from pcbnew into git. I will update the boom part.
