Hi guys, unfortunately our GSOC application was not accepted.

However, I have to say its a great process we went through for
figuring out our message, highest priority tasks, and how we can move
forward. The other application for Aiki Framework
(http://aikiframework.org) was also not selected.

I will say that Google has helped promote projects well in the past,
but I will not put energy into summer of code anymore. It is a great
program but only supports legacy projects and not new and dynamic
projects.

The good news is that Google paid my company http://fabricatorz.com
for some outstanding work.

And, I will keep going with the plan to get sales and $$$ for our projects.

Just to let you know, I'm like Bruce Lee on this type of thing...We
are water, just flow around this, and it makes us stronger.
Unrestricted real money is more valuable than programs.

With $5000 USD I can sustain a developer in many parts of the world
for 5-7 months for full-time directed work.

Cheers!

Jon

Hi Jon Phillips,

Thank you for submitting "Milkymist Open Source Microprocessor"
organization application to Google Summer of Code 2011. Unfortunately,
we were unable to accept your organization's application at this time.
We received many more applications for the program than we are able to
accommodate, and we would encourage you to reapply for future
instances of the program.

Best regards,
Google Open Source Programs
