This is bit of a braindump, but met with my good friends
http://christopherwillits.com and http://barrythrew.com who works at
http://obscuradigital.com to show milkymist1. Learned about the setups
many using now for high quality VJ and video performance. I would put
VJ term in english more into a cheesy category of spinning 3d
mushrooms, video performance more of process-based performance, and
then video installation as a totally great market for mm1 as well,
work that obscura does and many other custom shops.

Most laptop musicians using ipad with osc controls for a software
called max/msp jitter and now more recently Touchdesigner on a
pc....they use one laptop for audio and another, pc, for running this
video design software...

Thus, a killer feature of mm1 is that it supports OSC. And, there is a
free (small f) app and many many others on apple and android

http://hexler.net/software/touchosc-android

This is great...installing touchosc app on my free (small f and free
as in status.net gave me) phone right now...

With a rooted nook and touchosc-android, could have a great mm1
controller real quick...closer to Free (with big F)

I also checked out popular music/video scene in SF and found some
newer music called chillwave that fits well with milkymist1 style and
features at present...hahaha, funny enough also called GLO-FI ;) a
form of SLOWFI?

Great! I will begin recording uses of milkymist live

Here is some video from gbraad from the firefox4 release party:

That is my friend Shenyue in Beijing, he is well known DJ:

Anyway, is there a best practice on storing videos of Milkmist1 in
use? Best is for them to spread out in the world on normal services,
but I wanted to get the ball rolling somewhat on getting footage and
use of the device.
