Hi, here are some technical conferences it should be interesting to present the Milkymist related projects to. I have only listed European ones since I rarely take long haul flights, and feel free to add more.
I'll definitely submit a talk to the CCC camp - others I have not decided yet. The title would be something like "Latest development around Milkymist SoC", which could include anything at all: Flickernoise, RTEMS, Linux port, new FPGA developments, GPS-SDR, GDB stub, QEMU support, etc. So if anyone wants to give the talk with me raise your hand. * Chaos Singularity - June 24-26 - Biel (150km north/east of Geneva) CFP deadline: May 31st Hacking convention organized by the CCC in Switzerland. http://www.cosin.ch * CCC Camp - August 10-14 - Finowfurt (near Berlin) CFP deadline: May 1st http://events.ccc.de/camp/2011/cfp.html * FPGAWorld - September 12/13/15 - Copenhagen/Stockholm/Munich CFP deadline: June 1st What to find here: FPGA manufacturers, FPGA/embedded consulting companies, electronics distributors, academic research, Dini Group, EDA company sponsored food, expensive Scandinavian hotels. Little open source, except ORSoC who demoed Linux on OpenRISC (and that slow memcpy I mentioned earlier). Could still be a good place to talk about the Linux port to advertise the MM SoC platform to the consulting companies and academic researchers, who might later contribute stuff. ORSoC usually has a booth there, but they are expensive. Attendance and talks are free. http://www.fpgaworld.com S. _______________________________________________ http://lists.milkymist.org/listinfo.cgi/devel-milkymist.org IRC: #milkymist@Freenode Twitter: www.twitter.com/milkymistvj Ideas? http://milkymist.uservoice.com
