To do: * Remove text "TODO: depending on PCB routing difficulties, add an expansion header and connect as many FPGA spare I/Os as possible" (this was already on RC2) * Move J21 so there are no unnecessary connection dots on the schematics (this was already on RC2) * Update the HW_VER resistors to indicate PCB revision 2 (place R177 alone) * Leave the old names SW1, SW2, SW3 for the pushbuttons - that's how they are named in FPGA design, low level software etc... let's only rename them in the GUI and case * Remove the "S2" text in the pushbuttons (this was already on RC2) * Name other pins (1 and 3) of the reset IC symbol * Maybe reduce the capacitor values at the video input (470pF)... I used those from the Altera DE2 board, but in hindsight, they are pretty large. Perhaps some 100-200pF would be more appropriate. This could explain why we have to crank up the contrast and luminosity a bit... * Protection circuit and ferrite beads still to be sorted out. Verified OK: * Protection of video input with varistors * Audio: ** DNP 1M resistor on crystal ** Add 100nF and 10uF capacitors on pin 32 ** 100nF between pins 33 and 34, 47nF between 33 and ground ** Route SPDIF OUT (48) and SPDIF ENABLE (44) to J3 ** DNP the headphones amp parts including C24 on pin 40 * Added ground and 5V test points * Added reset IC: 2.63V, 200ms, open drain; pull-up to 3.3V; diode to reset flash when PROGRAM_B is pulled low.
