Wolfgang,

I have seen the Milkymist One; after I found the DMX cores I spent
some time browsing the Milkymist site (and the Github repo). It looks
like a really interesting project. I think our project's function is a
subset of what's possible with the Milkymist One - Milkymist has a DMX
interface and plenty of processing power; I see no reason it couldn't
do this.

I don't really have any plans to market my DMX controller; this was
mainly a fun project for an embedded systems class. I don't really
have any audience now, except the professors who graded the project.
(If I did market it in the future, I think it would targeted mainly to
clubs/discos, small music venues, and maybe larger companies who
specialize in concert lighting. A lighting design professor I know at
my university also mentioned he thought it could be used in large
theatrical productions.)
