But seriously, we're just trying to steer you away from a mode of operation that can't work very well with the technology we have today. If we had the memory bandwidth, I'm sure Sebastien would crank up the resolution in a heartbeat. It isn't as if the topic hadn't come up before :-) So good-looking slide shows with cool video effects operating on the slide itself may be something a future Milkymist model could do, but the M1 hardware simply isn't designed for such things. If you could show what effects exactly you're aiming for, maybe we could find other ways to accomplish that. E.g., it may be possible to extend the OSD (title overlay or RSS wall) to contain a slide while a patch is rendering in the background.
