Has anyone else noticed that the time required to build the trunk after a configure has gone up considerably over the last few months? It used to take about 5 min on my G5 Mac desktop - it now takes a solid 15+ min (both times not including autogen or configure).
Interestingly, I tried it configured with and without VT and got the exact same build times. Are we sure the --enable-contrib-no-build=vt option actually works? Ralph
