Thanks to a colleague at VLSCI who's got Mountain Lion the version
information for clang and llvm-gcc are as follows (and amusingly
use entirely different and unrelated version numbers):


Carls-MacBook-Pro:~ carlt$ clang --version
Apple clang version 4.0 (tags/Apple/clang-421.0.60) (based on LLVM 3.1svn)
Target: x86_64-apple-darwin12.1.0
Thread model: posix


Carls-MacBook-Pro:~ carlt$ llvm-gcc --version
i686-apple-darwin11-llvm-gcc-4.2 (GCC) 4.2.1 (Based on Apple Inc. build 5658)
